Sierra Nevada

Only in the summer months can the Sierra Nevada be seen without her white hood. The highest peak, Pico Mulhacén reaches the proud height of 3482 m.  The neighboring Pico de Veleta leads to the highest road in Europe.  Here, the ski area opens up at an altitude of 2000 meters. (Also called Sol y Nieve)
Through the village of Pradollano you can reach the summit of the Pico del Veleta.  With your own car you can only drive up to the Hoya de la Mora (2500 m).  If you want to reach
Veleta, you can hike, cycle or take a bus to the national park.
