Castillo Arabe

The imposing "Castillo Arabe" on the mountain top was the former summer residence of the kings of Granada and offers wonderful panoramic views of the coast and the nearby Sierra Nevada. Motril, a very beautiful Spanish town with over 50,000 inhabitants, is only 8 km away. Here you can enjoy everyday Spanish life, shopping, numerous activities or just relax in the beautiful church garden. Granada, with its world-famous "Alhambra" is only 70 km away, and the southernmost ski resort in Europe is only 100 km away and can be seen on clear days from Salobreña.
